Chi-square showed a significant difference between the Patients' perception of pain and intensity of pain (P ≤ 0.05) and significant difference between Nurses' perception of pain and intensity of pain (P ≤ 0.05).Chi square showed significant relationship between patients' perception of pain with analgesic but did not show any significant relationship between nurse s' perception of pain with analgesic and the doctor s' perception of pain with analgesic (P ≤ 0.05).
Conclusions: Postoperative pain control, reduction of pain and patient satisfaction were considered. The findings showed that nurse s’ and doctor s' perception of pain was moderate. Since most doctors and nurses haven’t studies about pain, it is recommended that training should be given to them.
