زمینه و هدف: یکی از مؤثرترین روش‌های درمانی در درمان بیماران مبتلا به بیماری پیشرفتۀ نارسایی کلیه، پیوند کلیه است. چند دهه از شروع پیوند کلیه در ایران و کرمانشاه می‌گذرد. هدف از این مطالعه، ارزیابی وضعیت پیوند کلیه در استان کرمانشاه درمقایسه‌با سایر استان‌ها و با سطح کل کشور در زمینۀ پیوند کلیه بود.
مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعۀ مرور سیستماتیک و متاآنالیز، میزان بقای بیماران دریافت‌کنندۀ پیوند و بقای کلیۀ پیوندی براساس جستجو در بانک‌های اطلاعاتی معتبر داخلی (SID، Magiran، Irandoc، IranMedex) و بین‌المللی (PubMed، ISI و ScienceDirect) از سال 1379 تا 1398 بررسی شد. کلیدواژه‌های پیوند کلیه، میزان بقا، بقای پیوند، کرمانشاه، و ایران و ترکیبی از آن‌ها به کار گرفته شد و با مدل اثرات تصادفی تحلیل شدند.
یافته‌ها: در 33 مطالعه، ۲۱ هزار و ۱۱۳ نمونه بررسی شدند. میزان بقای 1، 3، و 5 سالۀ بیماران دریافت‌کنندۀ پیوند کلیه در مطالعات موردبررسی در بازۀ زمانی سال‌های 98-1379 در استان کرمانشاه کمتر از مطالعات انجام‌شده در سایر استان‌های کشور بود. همچنین بقای 1، 3، 5، و 10 سالۀ کلیۀ پیوندی در استان کرمانشاه کمتر از سایر استان‌ها بود.
نتیجه‌گیری: میزان بقای بیماران و بقای پیوند در بیماران دریافت‌کنندۀ پیوند در کرمانشاه نسبت به سایر مناطق ایران پایین‌تر است. بنابراین، توجه به عوامل مؤثر در افزایش بقای بیماران دریافت‌کنندۀ پیوند و کلیۀ پیوندی و همچنین افزایش مطالعات در زمینۀ پیوند کلیه در استان کرمانشاه ضروری به نظر می‌رسد.
